This is just my guess, but sony isn't focusing on the more exclusive games for a few reasons. One of them is that they are working on making the PS3 more affordable, the PS3 slim, and they are working on making the PSP hacker proof. Why they would do this is to make the PS3 sell, so then when they get PS3 sales, they can then sell more of the games for it, because even though it is the most powerful (the average computer has 1-2 processors in it, the PS3 has 8!!) it is also the most costly.

As well as Uncharted and MAG, Sony also mentioned they have a new exclusive from Rack Star games called Agent and that Final Fantasy XIV will be PS3 exclusive (although that is an MMO and rumoured to be on the PC too).

The main reason why they haven't focused on exclusive games this year compared to a few years ago is that exclusive games from 3rd party developers are much less common these days, it's often in the financial interest of developers to create multiplatform titles to maximise sales.

I know what you mean. I'm a bit annoyed that I can't get the Fallout 3 expansions.
