There won't be many newly released games this Christmas as the year is almost up, but that won't stop people from buying PS3s right and left. There are a few top-notch games that will easily be HUGE hits which I think will be Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2. New owners will definitely be picking up copies of these games making them top sellers this holiday season.

LBP offers something for everybody: young, old, male, female. I don't know of anybody who can resistant the charm of Sackboy! Add to that a single-player game that received overall positive reviews and a full-fledged online component... You've got a winner.
Resistance 2 offers something for everybody, minus the young. (Although, according to my friend who works at GameStop, many parents buy games like this anyway for their younglings because they are clueless/indifferent as to their content. But that's another topic.) Who doesn't like a good FPS?
Grand Theft Auto IV - It's been out for a year, but the PS3 version only came out in April. Some people don't have it yet, I'm sure, and would really really like to remedy that situation. This is another game that's popular with kids. :P
