on a ps3 a bluray movie shows up with a picture and name in the crossbar only once. How does it do it always?

THis applies to the crossbar menu at startup. It seems that I put a movie in once and the name and picture shows up. When I put the movie in next time it only shows up in the crossbar as a blank icon with no name. Where are the settings to turn it on all the time?
