I've played through and had a time with health items. I found out you also get a health upgrade for each serum you find in briefcases (some are on counters somewhere) but if you have issues still on finding health items look up a walkthrough at gamefaqs.com. Another thing i recommend when fighting monsters is try the strafe and hit with melee, it conserve ammo and if you time the dodge at the right time, even if the monster hit's you you can parry it with your weapon or dodge it completely keeping them open for a beating. also remember to try to ukemi (recover immediately after a fall) if you keep doing that strafe and hit, the monsters should be easier to deal with without taking too much damage

Does anyone know a cheat for extra health in Silent Hill - the Homecoming? I've got one medipack left and keep dying. Help.

When going through the game conserve with what you can, the fight scenes are dull and the monsters are lame at best. The best advice is to run by monsters you dont necessarily have to kill. Everytime you die you restart with half life, no matter what your life was at before. So run to the next save, die, then youll have half life again. Try not to use your health kits unless in dire need. Once you beat the game with the UFO ending, everything will be VERY easy the next time around. I promise.
