Playing the system with a cable ISP, will it work?
So I live in an apartment where internet is provided in rent... but it is painfully slow for me (use to at least 8 down) I have the option of signing up with Charter internet, and currently they are running a deal for 16Mbps down for 30 bucks a month for 6 months. thing is, after 6 months the price jumps to a whooping 65 dollars (yea... not paying that) I'm curious to your thoughts on the ease of signing up, getting the promotion, then after the promotion is over, cutting the service. There is no early termination fee, and there is no contract. Hopefully by the time my contract is up, I can switch to knology, who is suppose to be setting up infrastructure where I live, if they haven't I'd probably just fall back onto the "free" internet provided by my apartment for a month or so and sign up for another promotional deal, since their definition of a "new customer" is "Offer valid to new residential customers only who have not subscribed to Charter Internet within the previous 30 days and have no outstanding obligation to Charter." thoughts?
(P.S. opinion question: I can try to do this run around for the 16 Mpbs connection and drop it after 6 months, or just get an 8 Mpbs connection for the same price, but guaranteed for 2 years, which won't matter since next year my landlord is going to be bundling charter into rent anyway, thoughts?)

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
