Pinot Noir Mendocino is supreme, and is only $16.00! Being my favorite wine for the price, I've researched this to see what makes it taste so good. The pinot grapes are grown on family-owned vineyards and the wine produced is a family-owned winery. Nice aroma of cherries, lavender, and woodsy cedar finishes with a bright tautness. Navarro is not often found in stores but you can order direct and the $16 gets more than you bargain for.

I'm a big fan of Concannon. Pinot Noir is my favorite from them. But, then again... I live near them and have been a member of their "club". http://www.concannonvineyard.com/

Yellow Tail Pinot Noir with the pink label. Depending on the year, a bottle ranges from about $7.99 on sale, to $15. Maybe it's more psychosomatic, but Yellow Tail in general has an optimal taste, as far as white wine goes.
