I also found this info on blackberry maybe it helps "Just add an invitee to your calendar vent/appointment. use a different email address to the hotmail account the calendar is on.
setup your blackberry to also retrieve and sync from this additional email address and hey as long as you have this calendar under options selected you will receive the calendar entries.
remember you have to add the email address as an invitee to each calendar event in hotmail for this to work"

On that note, however, I find the Google Phone much more user friendly with the full keyboard and track-ball. The Blackberry storm has a very odd mechanism where you have to press quite hard on the 'touch' screen in order to type.

Palm Pre, Google Android, or Blackberry? Which provides the best experience when accessing my Windows Live Calendar?
I am stuck with Windows Live Calendar. I am about to buy one of these three smartphones and want one that will sync well with my Windows Live Calendar.
Very Important:
I do not use Microsoft Outlook. I am looking for a way I can sync directly with the web instead of synchronizing to my desktop. Similar to how Pre syncs with Google's calendar via the web.
Photos and/or Video would be very helpful.

I did little research on these three phones and found nothing about Windows Live Calender but I would better to buy Windows Mobile based phone from HTC or Palm. I also found this info on blackberry maybe it helps "Just add an invitee to your calendar vent/appointment. use a different email address to the hotmail account the calendar is on.

I'm with you about not finding any information about these smartphones playing nice with Windows Live Calendar. I was also unable to find any information. Thank you very much for helping me, but I really want to stay away from a Windows Mobile device. Your solution about adding an invitee is a good idea, but seems rather cumbersome. Thank you, again.

I'd suggest going with a Blackberry for any of the Wndows-based applications you'd be running. Microsoft seems to dislike allowing outside companies access to it's brands. On that note, however, I find the Google Phone much more user friendly with the full keyboard and track-ball. The Blackberry storm has a very odd mechanism where you have to press quite hard on the 'touch' screen in order to type.

Thank you for helping me in my decision as to which smartphone to choose. I am looking for an in-depth review regarding how Windows Live Calendar integrates with each of the smartphones I mentioned in my question. Thanks again.

I'm assuming that the sync happens between the phone unit and the desktop in this solution. I really want to sync using the web: "I am looking for a way I can sync directly with the web instead of synchronizing to my desktop." Also, I really want to stay away from symbian-based phones. Thank you for your answer, though.
