My main negative feeling about the Philippine Republic is that it has failed, after all these decades, to bring peace, law, and order to its southern islands.

I know the people are very nice and I really don't have a negative opinion of them. I believe they are just like every other country a group of people trying to make life the best they can one day at a time.
