I have one and he is a pet. Like a pet rock, he's dead now. Found him in my hall one evening, caught him and he died within a day in captivity. I still have him on my desk in a container though...

Creepy, I know.

Really, though, I save him as a reminder to always look in my shoes before I put them on and always look where I am walking (both in and out of the house), as you never know if one has snuck in again. Here in the desert you have to be careful.
