Which pets are nocturnal?

I am up late often, so I think it would be cool to have a pet that could keep me company!

Which pets are nocturnal? I'll tip all answers that are really helpful.

-edit-
I should've said this before, but I'm allergic to cats.

Hedgehogs are nocturnal and fairly easy to care for.

Chinchillas are also more active at night. Mostly at dawn and dusk, so they aren't truly nocturnal.,

Mant dogs will stay awake at night if the people in the house are awake. Many will adopt the same schedules as humans.

Rabbits are not nocturnal, but are like chinchillas. They are crepuscular which means they are most active during the twilight hours. Rabbits make good pets and can be trained to use a litter box.

cats are naturally nocturnal, but will adapt to sleeping at night depending on their owners lifestyle. Most rodents such as hamsters etc. are nocturnal that is one of the problems for their owner sometimes because they like to run in their wheels and play at night
