I spread out my dogs feedings across the day, measuring out the days limit the night before.
I recommend trying dry dogfood, unless your dog refuses to eat it, it did take a few trips to the supermarket to find a food my dog would finish. just buy the smaller pouches of the foods to try.

We have a dog that is 12 years old and we use Purina One. Our dog loves it. We have tried different flavors but always stick with Purina. Now that he is older and heavier we are giving him the purina healthy weight management. http://www.girl.com.au/purina-benefits-pet-ownership.htm

Honestly, I don't think there is a "best dogfood" what you need to do is find out what your dog will eat and make sure you only feed them the right amount. I spread out my dogs feedings across the day, measuring out the days limit the night before.
