Well out of the choices that were givin, I would have to choose the basset hound. They are so lovable, and the look on their faces will melt your heart. I have a 1 yr old basset that I rescued, normally I own German shepherds, he is the sweetest, cutest, most lovable dog I have had.
Although they tend to be very stubborn and want things done their way, they are all around a very good breed.
I have added a picture of my boy "Buford"

American Pit Bull Terriers. There is an amazing amount of misinformation about the breed, but a true APBT is social, wiggly, hard working, smart, loyal and energetic.
