Dogs love to please their owners, and love to be rewarded with treats (don't overfeed though!). With those things in mind, try to get your dog to follow your hand with a treat in it for movement tricks, and praise and treat them when they do it and say "good name here."
For example, if you want the dog to roll over:
1. Get the dog to lie down
2. With a small treat in hand, make a motion with your hand that the dog can follow to roll over and say "roll over" in a happy voice (tone is very important)
3. When the dog does it successfully, give the treat and reward him/her verbally.
4. Be patient. It is unlikely that the dog will get it in minutes.
