I wish there were a clear and concise census of dog populations in the world.
It would make life much easier for the dog, and maybe we wouldn't have to put so many unwanted ones to sleep.

I searched all over for any type population lists for Jack Russell's but couldn't find any.

The US is in the lead with the highest dog population in the world.

The closest you'll come to know the exact number would probably be from adding up all the current breeders from the JRTCA

But then, you have to take into account all the cute JR's out there that are not registered or are a mixed version of the breed.
