how do penguins not fly

Penguins don't fly because their wings are not really wings but in fact flippers for swimming. They need the ability to swim for food and survival. Very good swimmer.

Their "wings" are actually flippers to help them swim.

Have you seen a penguin? even if those little flippers they had were real wings that thing just isn't made for the air they are like potatoes with little flippers.

Its all because it never needed .
as penguins habitat is sea . these birds never needed wings to fly . as the time passed in evolution their wings became useless and they became nonflying birds.
who knows due to this climate change and lack of food in their habitat may force them fly !!!

By not flapping their flippers, and not jumping off cliffs/buildings/mountains with hangliders or some similar contraption..
