After the recent heatwave & bushfires attacked in Australia, we had possum wandering around our place for the very first time. Our cat saw it first that hint us with that tiny creature! I wished if it stays longer, I would have made a box for it...although there are restrictions when it comes to wildlife animals in Australia. It depends where you live. Opossums are beneficial animals. You should not be trying to get rid of them.
