Oh boy. I think this largely depends on where you live. If you live where I do (wilds of Montana), there aren't that many. However, if you live in NYC, in Manhattan alone, there are at least 2397 cameras to take a picture of your smiling face.

If that isn't enough, consider that traffic lights are equipped with cameras. The stores you go into have security cameras. The apartments you live in or that are nearby have security cameras. And, if you have paranoid neighbors, they probably have them too. And don't forget the photocops, webcams, and whatnot.

So, there you go. Note that not everyone has been pleased with the cameras. In 2007 an angry British mob burned a photocop camera.

Wait. Household surveillance? Unless you were like getting really close to peoples homes attempting breaking and entering or you live in an apartment complex I doubt any ones "household" security cameras saw you.

I live in a rural area where we have three homes I'm aware of that have cameras aimed toward there mailboxes since kids here love to TP trees and blow up mailboxes, so.....
