I will include some great links here for you to go over and pull whatever information you need.

Since you have already introduced them and they are now living under the same roof, it might be a little tricky.
The most important thing is to keep them separate and have a controlled area for the 'meet and greet'.

From my experiences they will work it out themselves. Just be sure the dog likes cats to start with, some dogs kill cats. If the dog is not threatining and actually trying to hurt the kitten, the barking is his way of talking to the kitten. Of course the kitten is going to hiss and smack at the dog, but he is being deffensive until he feel it is safe for him and the dog is'nt a danger. Time has proven cats and dogs do just fine, in the animal world they all make a place and can become the best of friends, just give it some time and they will be playing together. The worse thing you can do is interfer unless you have to for the safety of the kitten, sometimes dogs can play a little rough...lol
