Yes, I learned certain triggers that cause such reactions and figured ways in which to avoid or lessen if possible. I found that excitement will almost surely trigger an episode. So when I saw him began to overwhelm himself, I would gently pet him while saying "calm down" repeatedly. It worked and his seizures began to happen less frequently. So I would suggest trying to avoid over heating, over excitement and anything where it would cause the body to increase blood flow and heart rate. That with the meds should help and I wish you and your friend best wishes!! Take care!!

By the way, how is your dog doing? I really hope my comment helped you? I know how scary watching your dog have a seizure can be.
