Will a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 work?

The Intel GMA 950 is supported by the Spore Creature Creator when running within Windows; but not Mac OS X.
This anomaly is caused by the cross-platform solution EA has selected, and suffers compatibility issues as it is not a native port and must run using a software wrapper which translates Windows specific function calls to Mac ones.
It may work to some degree within OS X, but is most definitely not supported and I would recommend strongly against purchasing the Creature Creator to discover this. There would likely be many glitches and high instability if it did run at all. Also it will not run on any non-Intel Mac and requires Leopard or higher.
Of course, if you are using Windows; none of these problems apply to you, and even if you are running Mac OS X — if you have an Intel Mac you may dual boot into Windows (via Boot Camp) to run the Creature Creator successfully, as it is a software not a hardware issue.

download the demo for the creature creator and try it out. i always try to grab the demo of a game before i purchase it to check out the performance.
