Is any one else having problems with the Steam client?

I recently reinstalled Windows (again!). When i installed Steam and signed in I get a white page with a list of links in the store tab. I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times and am getting the same thing. I'm just wondering if any other Steam users are experiencing this now, or if it has something to do with the Windows reinstall.

It sounds like you haven't got flash player installed in Internet Explorer, easiest way to resolve this is load up IE and go to a site like Youtube, and it will prompt you to install flash and take you to the right page etc.

install flash check youtube works then reload steam :)

That's what i thought it was but I have flash installed. I have been going to the web site if I want to see whats in the store. But it would be nice if it worked proper. I guess I can go to the steam support, if I don't figure it out.

hmm, what version of windows are you using? do you have the latest version of internet explorer installed?
also you say you have flash installed, is it installed fully in Internet Explorer? not just any other browser that you may use?
as steam is just using internet explorer to display its store page.

You could also check your internet options, though I'd assume you havent changes anything since youve installed windows
