Hello,
Since I am a video game fan, and a MMORPG person, I did. I can start telling you..LOTRO has, WOW has...but LOTRO is better and WOW is not.
No. I will put this game in balance with another MMORPG. If you are a fan of this type of games you know it: I'm talking about Guild Wars. As you probably know Guild Wars has great graphics. Well...LOTRO is better.
What is missing in LOTRO is the story line. Most of the MMORPG I played have one. Even AION. But for me LOTRO has a minus on that chapter.
Since I am also a LOTR fan, I bought this game as soon as it appeared. I dont know why my download for the free trial did not work. So I took this chance and bought it. Now, I regret that. The team-play in this game also has some problems. But that is just a problem with players. I know that from WOW.
So, if you are a LOTR fan....try the trial...and if you like it...buy it
If you are only a MMORPG fan, don't waste your time and money, come and lets do a raid in onyxia lair ! :D
Hope this helps!

I not only tried the trial but became a paying player for 6 plus months. I enjoyed playing the game as a whole, the only thing I didn't like was the travel time between areas. The quests and team play in the game though makes up for the travel times as well as the many special events they have. The neatest part of the game is the titles you can earn for doing secondary things such as tailoring and blacksmithing for example. I highly recommend the game to anyone who enjoys a mixed variety of things to do in the game as well as teaming with others.
