why is it that the car continue to accelerate in gta 4 when u are in the car without u pressing acceleration?

Well if u were driving and didn't brake you will continue driving till you eventually stop or if you collide... If you didn't drive it's probably because you're on a hill, if that's not the case, check your controller or keyboard
