Pay as you go power? Moving in AZ and one place I'm looking at features this. Anyone willing to share their experiences with it? Good? Bad?
The service in question is SRP's M-power ( http://www.srpnet.com/payment/mpower/ ). Looking up stuff about it shows me a lot of "official" praise but not many independent testimonials. Do people find this actually saves them money (especially in the summer where I've seen $200 electric bills)? It does have the benefit of a smaller initial deposit ($90 as opposed to $275-ish), the better to have money to buy furniture with (if I don't get a place that has all utilities included). Has anyone been, or know someone who's been royally screwed by running out of credit between paychecks?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
