A wonderful site that I used all throughout my pregnancy was www.babyzone.com Baby Zone has feature where you can join a "Due Date Club" which connects you with other women who are due in the same month as you. Because I communicated with these ladies all throughout our pregnancies, I developed lasting friendships with them. I would go to those ladies about every little concern and new development. As a first time mother there were little "dramas" in my pregnancy that I knew weren't a big enough deal to consult a doctor for (didn't want to be that crazy lady!) but I also wanted a second opinion. The ladies on the boards range from first time moms to moms with many kids already so there are plenty of people to lend an ear or some helpful advice!
I don't know if I could have made it through my pregnancy without Baby Zone! I hope your friend enjoys it as much as I did!
