Is Richard Clarke the diplomat gay?

He is not listed as having a wife or children in publications.

He's apparently been a lifelong bachelor...I don't know that that means he's gay, but there has definitely been speculation. Also, see the below link; Clarke was interviewed by the Advocate a few years ago and had some insightful things to say about gays in the CIA...
