Boy, do I feel your pain! For four years I went to school, balanced my family, my writing and at one point, two jobs. It was hard to find time to just sit down and talk to my daughter and husband, much less some very valuable alone time. One suggestion you may want to consider is finding an on campus work-study job. Because the jobs are designed for students and paid by the state, you often can't work more than twenty hours a week, but most of the on-campus jobs are very easy going and will allow you to work and study at the same time. I was very lucky in that I found a job in the Department of Developmental Instruction at the university I attended, tutoring students in early algebra and writing essentials. I also did basic office work for the professors in that department. I recommend going to the financial aid office and asking to see a list of on campus jobs.
It might also be good to find a part time job near the university itself that is willing to work around student hours. Full time college student hours are crazy, which is one of the reasons it is so hard to find a good job. A lot of businesses in college towns will take this into consideration and be willing to work around your schedule.
Another option is finding one or two online jobs you can do in your spare time. Check out WAHM.com It's an online site specifically designed for work at home moms.

One of the best (and easiest) ways to find surveys to take is to keep an eye on the Surveys forum on slickdeals.net. The community there is very loyal about posting new, reliable surveys often. I have it bookmarked, and I check it a few times a day while doing other work. I also receive survey notices in my email.

Freelance writing gigs don't always pay high, but you could hit it big with occasional high-paying projects. A lot of the higher paying jobs are reserved for North Americans, so you've got an advantage there. Once you get used to it, you could make up to around $60~$100 per day on your free time.
Good luck to ya!

Combining work and school is tough--congratulations! Flexibility is obviously important to you. Have you considered tutoring? High school students are now half way through their school year, and if grades aren't good--parents are getting stressed! Offering tutoring services for whatever you're studying in college can be done on your own time schedule, and can help pay the bills. If you're worried about your changing schedules but want to maintain a relatively steady flow of income, you may want to try freelance work (i.e. freelance writing). Check out sites like GetAFreelancer (www.getafreelancer.com) to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
