If you are going to be outside in the evening, try to wear a long sleeve shirt and pants that have elastic at the bottom. It is not recommended that you use insect repellent on children age one and under.

Discard all food that will attract insects, try to stay away from standing water, this attracts mosquitoes

also avoid using lotions and perfumes, that will also attract insects.
