Do you believe it's right for Nadya Suleman to ask for donations through her website? And will you be donating
Especially in the rough economy do you believe it is right for someone in a situation such as Nadya to request help from the American public especially after what has come to light about Nadya Sulemans financial situation before she took steps to have more children.

Is it morally right for her to ask? It depends on your sense of morals.
I believe it is wrong for her to ask for help for herself because she brought this upon herself due to her own poor decisions.
But, it is RIGHT to ask for help for the children. They don't deserve to be punished for the misdeeds of the mother. How many other parents have made mistakes when choosing to have children. Should we then ignore the kids?
The website is a free will donation, people can choose to give and how much. Meaning it is a far more concrete connection than just turning her over to social services.
Knowing so littler about her except for a few news feeds, I will not be donating. Not because of a right or wrong judgment of her, but because I feel there are other more needy people that can use my help.

Yes!...and then pay back what she owes for her irresponsible behavior.
I'm actually glad I have an outlet to voice my opinion on this, and I appreciate the forum. I find it incredibly irresponsible for a woman who already has 6 children and no job to try for number 7 (and inadvertantly raise the total to 14). Further, I think it's unfair to taxpayers for the burden to fall on them. As far as the website donations go, I think it's a good idea to offer that option people who WANT to help out, but again, I feel it's unfair for the rest of us to pick up the slack. No, I won't be donating, and I strongly suggest she find some kind of gainful employment and work from home. Where there's a will there's a way.
To be frank, I worry about those kids. Are they going to have an opportunity to go to college? REALLY? Who can put 14 kids thru college (maybe Oprah, but you see my point). What kind of living conditions are they going to have until they leave home in 18 years? Where will they be when this media frenzy wears out?
I feel like she's playing the victim here a little bit, and needs to step up instead of playing on the media's and the public's sympathies.

I would not donate to her, and don't particularly approve of the choices she has made. She has brought children into the world without having the capacity to take care of them, which is thoughtless, at best.
However, anybody can ask for money. The children aren't responsible for her choices, and will probably need support, one way or another. No doubt we'll end up taking care of them, anyway, as taxpayers. So I have nothing against her doing this to try and cover some of the expenses.

No, she should not ask for donations, but even more important, no one should give her anything! Those 14 kids are not anyone's responsibility, but hers, and if she fails to take care of them properly, so what. Millions of kids in Africa and elsewhere die of starvation and disease. Those are the children that deserve help because there is no one to help them. By the way, has anyone done the math on her pregnancies/marriage. She was married for 7 or 8 years. She has 14 kids between the ages of 7 and 1 month. She divorced in January 2008, so is her former husband the father of the first six kids. Would be really strange to have a sperm donor from someone else when one is married. Let her and her worthless parents go back to Iraq! I don't care if she was born here, she's still a dumb Middle Eastern blood-sucker. The U. S. has sacrificed over 4,000 lives and nearly a trillion dollars on that dust bowl of a country so they can have a "democracy." If it's still so bad in Iraq, BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!

There are so many people waiting to adopt and love a child. The government paid for those innocent lives to be brought into this world; they should mandate they go to good homes. Her tubes didn't work naturally for a reason. She is a worthless human and an unfit parent.

No, I don't think it's appropriate. It makes her situation look like she planned to have the babies and then just assumed that the public would want to help her. I will definitely not be donating.
I'm so certain that Nadya is right to have 14 kids and then beg for donations that I've decided to clone myself 14 times and go on welfare as an act of solidarity.
