We did it, and it wasn't too bad. Your main concern should be bugs and spiders. We bought several mosquito repellants, but forgot about spiders. Our daughter ended up with a large spider bite, which fortunately didn't turn into anything. (whew) However, it could have been serious especially with the brown recluse spider population in North America.
