There are so many reasons you can miss a period other than just pregnancy. I noticed in one of the comments you noted you have several children already, so you likely have a gut feeling as to whether you are pregnant or not already. I know several people with multiple children and they say by their second or third they know within a couple weeks and don't even need a test - the can feel it almost down to the day. This could be the case for you.
Other reasons to miss period include:
*Stress (as others have mentioned)
*Being underweight or overweight - girls often need to be around 100 pounds, and their period may stop if they dip below that weight.
*Having too small of a calorie intake, or too low body fat percentage
*A sudden change in diet (becoming vegetarian, for example)
*Major injuries
*Sudden change in daily activity (suddenly starting exercise)
*Regular high levels of activity (usually only applies to serious athletes - your body senses it's priorities are not to bear children and it no longer need it's period)
*Starting new medications
*Plan B or other hormone pills (notorious for destroying your normal cycle)
Also, things like cysts can stop your cycle. If you've had a child within the last year it can take quite some time to become regular again.
If you really do think you are pregnant, give it a couple weeks and test again. It's possible your levels are just not high enough to trip the test, or it's possible there is an underlying medical reason like a very early miscarriage.
If you think you are pregnant and don't want to wait, head to the doctor for a blood test (something I'm sure you've done before). No point getting a urine test at the doctors, to be honest. The use standard drug store tests as well, and not even ones that detect the lowest level. I know here, the tests doctors give are the same as the ones you get from the dollar store, so a blood test is much better.
If you wait it out a month, your fairly sure your not pregnant, (no positive tests) and you see no other reasons, and miss your next, its time for a trip to your doctor. It's most likely nothing and your body has been thrown off cycle by something, but it could also be something more serious.
Also, hard to tell your age by your picture, but women are reaching menopause much earlier than normal these days - sometimes in their 30's or 40's, and it's not uncommon to see cases as early as a women's 20's. It's possible your just starting menopause, in which case a doctors trip again is in order - unless your very against medication, there are many medications you may consider taking. I only mention this as I lived with my mother while she went through menopause - she was against medication and she made life absolutely miserable for everyone and was extremely emotional. It's still not over and it's going on 8 years - really should be corrected. She bursts into tears for things like burning a batch of cookies or missing a spot when washing dishes, and it's not something you should suffer with. Sorry if I'm grossly overestimating your age, but as I said, menopause can hit very early these days.
Here is a very good page from WebMD which is a great and reliable source for health information.
Here is another WebMD page, though this one is discussion on the topic which may lead to some insight by other people that have had the same issue.
And finally, here is a little more from babymed.com
Long story shot, you could be pregnant but you'd likely be able to tell. Most likely it's just a fluke (something like chemical pregnancy) or a lifestyle change, but it can also be more serious medical conditions, so If it's worrying you, head to the doctor.
Good luck!

During my thesis days, my period skipped. It's because I haven't gotten enough sleep and is so much stressed with the whole thing.I did a little research then and found out that stress could affect my own cycle.
You said you had three pregnancy test already and they all resulted to negative. I think you're not pregnant. Although pregnancy tests aren't 100% accurate, you already tested 3 times and they had the same results. So I think it's really negative then.
If you're not really stressed lately (though it seemed that you very emotional lately like you said), then maybe you have irregular cycle. Some people had irregular period meaning they don't can't really count the days of their period. During some instance, they're period even skips.
If you're still unsure, you can check with your ob-gyne though it's not really necessary. I'm a woman too so I've experienced already what you're going through right now. :) Just don't stress yourself that much and eat right to prevent this from happening.

This is a very common problem. It is sometimes caused due to stress, sometimes due to uterine ulcers and also due to many other reasons. You should visit the doctor as it is not a very healthy thing. You can also try some essential oil which has emmenagogue properties. Don't be panicked or over worried. I repeat, this is very normal as our body is not a machine that it will respond accurately and punctually everyday. It is somewhat like suffering from constipation one day and having clear bowels the next day.

I am sorry but you seem to have not understood me clearly, or might be that I could not make myself clear. I meant to say that it is a problem and not a very healthy thing (any problem to health is obviously not healthy), but it is a common problem too. Moreover, it is not something to be very much scared or worried of, because it is easily treated. Finally, I said the periods can be bit irregular (few days sooner or later) normally, even if you are not suffering from any of the problems discussed in my first answer. This is because since our body is not a machine, it may not be that punctual or regular. Irregularity or randomness is the law of the nature. I have seen plenty of such cases where the period delayed for a few days and then started without any medication. I have also seen people getting it treated and overcoming it easily. But if it is frequently delayed or irregular, then you must visit doctor because you might be having the problems such as uterine ulcers, tumors etc. But there is no point in getting scared. There is a treatment available.

@lynxlee is right. Are you stressed over some things right now? Being physically and emotionally stressed are some factors on why your period will be late or at times, would skip. It's because I haven't gotten enough sleep and is so much stressed with the whole thing.I did a little research then and found out that stress could affect my own cycle.

If I am pregnant this would be baby number six. I am not worried if I am I have just never missed a period before for no reason. I don't have a lot of stress in my life its pretty easy going. I took two test before my missed period so I don't know if that would show or not. I am going to wait another week and if nothing happens I am going on call into the doctors.

But after the three negative test, I think you're not pregnant. I'm wondering about the emotional sleeping you said?
Or another factor is, are you old enough for menopausal? If yes, then late menstruation or even skipping menstruation are some of the early signs of menopausal. I knew older people who are in the process and experiencing the same.

Wow, if you have 5 children already I'm guessing you can likely sense if your pregnant. I know my cousin with only 3 knew by the time she was 2 weeks pregnant just because she'd felt it before, and was already spreading the news before a test confirmed it. She was right down to nearly the day - many mothers of multiple children say the same thing, that they can tell their pregnant without a test.
It's unlikely tests before your period would show, the one after should, though, depending on the quality of the test used, and when you ovulated in your cycle. Give it a few more days and try again.

Any positive is a positive, no matter how faint and early! On the reverse, I've heard of many people who never get a positive throughout their entire pregnancy, so it can't be relied upon as the only deciding factor. Sometimes even blood tests don't show it, and an ultrasound is needed to confirm!
