Any advice for parenting twin toddlers?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

By the way....this answer isn't a way of 'lashing' out against my mother. She was and still is the best Mom a guy could ask for!!!

M$I've found that having a good sense of humor can be a huge plus. Twins will work as a team to get into things no single child would ever think of. They will also do things that will make you wonder how they ever thought of ding it in the first place.
Try to keep your patience. Remember that most things they're doing right now is probably part of a stage they'll outgrow. Stick to the rules and discipline for stuff that needs it, but remember that at this age they're testing limits. It's part of the job. Just keep telling yourself that they'll outgrow it...eventually.
If you're at the potty training stage just remember one thing that a friend told me when started into it. Don't stress too much about it. At the very latest most kids will be potty trained by the time they are school age because they won't want to be embarrassed by friends. And there's not a high schooler out there that will want to impress a boy/girl by wearing a diaper. It'll happen. Jut be persistent and have patience.
If you can, meet other parents (online or in person) who have twins too. You can share "war stories" and exchange ideas or learn from those who've been through the stuff you're going through.
In our case we also have another who's 18 months younger than the twins so I've found that looking into ideas used by those working in child care facilities sometimes also work for us.There are things like keep a schedule (regular naps, mealtimes, snacks, reading times, etc.), have a quiet space set up for children who sometimes need times to calm down or just to be alone for a bit, have stations set up around the house for different activities (pots and pans in kitchen, reading area,.art area for easy clean up...),have cubbies, shelves or boxes for each child to hold stuff they'll use often through the day and be sure the house is safety proofed as much as possible in the areas they'll be playing in.
The best advice so far though is enjoy every minute of it and write down all of the little memories in a book for each child or even a blog. The time goes by a lot faster than you'd think.
