The highest peak in Pakistan is K2. It is located in the Karakorum Range and reaches 28250 ft or 8,611 meters. It lies partly in China and partly in Pakistan's Kashmir regions. The mountain's glacier rises from its bast at about 15000 feet on the Godwin Austen Glacier which is a tributary of the Baltoro Glacier.
