1. The Neue Nationalgalerie is one of the most famous modern art galleries in Berlin. Designed by Mies van der Rohe and nicknamed "Temple of Light and Glass", the gallery contains work by Pablo Picasso, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Joan MirĂ³, Wassily Kandinsky and Barnett Newman.

2. Located in a former train station, Hamburger Bahnhof is often thought of as Berlin's answer to London's Tate Modern gallery. The museum has a fine collection of both German and International modern art and contains work by artists such as Joseph Beuys, Anselm Kiefer, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Long, Andy Warhol and Cy Twombly.

3. Another good one is the KW Institute for Contemporary Art. It has amazing art and a beautiful courtyard that you can chill and relax in. While not as visually striking as the Neue Nationalgalerie, it is still worth checking out.
