Take it to a conservationist. It it smells moldy or has "foxing" which are mold marks it needs work to preserve it to keep it from getting worse. Since it is dated and has words on the back, these could be clues to the press where it was printed.You could get some information on google. I actually learned the value of an old book of mine this way.

You should probably find a local antique appraiser. Don't ask them to appraise it but ask them who they would contact to figure out the value. Then get a second opinion. Without at least a picture on here there is no way your going to even get anybody to guess at it's value. Good Luck!
