what do I pack for a 2 week trip

I'm, heading to calif, it'll be in the 70s and 50s. I want to try to fit things in a 20" bag. I'll have a carryon too but that's packed already. How many pairs of shorts, shirts, 1 dress outfit for dinner? Anyone have a routine already set that I could use to help me get an idea of packing clothes for 2 weeks?

You better pack more clothes because 2 weeks is a long trip, so you can't consumed dress for the trip. 4 shorts, 4 pants, 3blouses and 4 shirts and two dress. I hope this is enough for you, happy trip.
