I guess it would depend on your idea of expensive.
The highest price I have seen is $300 and it includes:
The Soaring Seagull Glider Ride-for-One Person is our best ride for one. It is a series of three take-offs, flights, and landings, complete with logbook and conversational ground instruction between flights. The whole experience takes about 1½ hours, ground and air time.

Presuming you are not actually buying an aircraft, just paying for the training and experience.
