So glad for Beck! Probably the best Dylan cover since Jason & The Scorchers' "Absolutely Sweet Marie!"

I don't have an answer, but I am a Dylan fan and I think it was a most excellent cover of a classic song, on a classic album "Blonde on Blonde." Sorry, you can't appreciate it. I suggest you get a bottle of wine listen to the album with an intimate friend.

Good grief! I can't believe the tone of this question...it was probably the BEST part of the whole show! aside from the earlier special effects montage to The Hives "Tick Tick Boom".....other than those 2 music montages the rest of the show was the absolute WORST Oscars I've ever seen! So glad for Beck! Probably the best Dylan cover since Jason & The Scorchers' "Absolutely Sweet Marie!"

Maybe the poster was asking who on earth was "cool" enough to OK a of an obscure Bob Dylan song on something as "tidy" as the Oscars?
