In 2007, Anne wore a white Valentino gown replete with giant black bows. In 2008 Marchesa was the designer of Anne Hathaway's Oscar dress, so it's likely she will go with Marchesa again in 2009. She might also go with an Atelier Versace dress as she wore this gown for the Venice premiere of Rachel Getting Married. The latest issue of InStyle says that, "She pared down her style for this year's Golden Globes in a sweeping Armani Prive gown in deep navy." The last picture is of her latest dress in deep navy by Giorgio Armani. The red dress is Marchesa, and the soft green and blue dress she wore for the Venice premiere.

According to The Insider when comparing Anne Hathaway to Jennifer Lopez, as they are both Marchesa wearers:

"Anne Hathaway, also a Marchesa wearer, is nominated for Leading Actress, making her of overriding importance. This, most definitely, will not go over well with Jenn, who, may even have to retaliate by wearing another designer."

This dress is a bit over the top as is the amount of jewelry she is wearing on her wrist. I wish she had put on a necklace instead of all those bracelets...less is more Anne. Overall, I am not a fan, but what do you think?
