What do you feel is the most common Soap Oil used in handmade/natural soaps?

Olive oil is commonly used in natural products for it's moisturizing effects.
Many other vegetable oils are suitable too.

If you meant essential oils: Rose water, Lavender and chamomile are very common but there are other ones you could try. Just be careful to read instructions and directions to every single essential oil. Some are not suitable for skin and may be dangerous for pregnant women.

most soap is made with a coconut oil base because it is the cheapest. it is a good oil. the main difference between natural soap and others is the addition of EDTA, a chemical additive that is bad for the skin and environment.
