Oranges or Apples, why?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Apples!

~ Apples come in a wider variety of flavors
~ Apples aren't as messy to eat, and don't require peeling
~ Oranges are often too tart
~ Apples generally won't squirt you in the eye
~ Apples have more vitamins and fiiber
~ I've never heard of orange pie, orange tarts, orange turnovers, or orange fritters
~ I've never actually thrown up apple juice....orange juice on the other hand....vodka is never my friend....

The apple is the pomaceous fruit of the apple tree, species Malus domestica in the rose family Rosaceae. It is one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits

There are more than 7,500 known cultivars of apples. Different cultivars are available for temperate and subtropical climates.

Reputedly the world's biggest collection of apple cultivars is housed at the National Fruit Collection in England.
Most of these cultivars are bred for eating fresh (dessert apples), though some are cultivated specifically for cooking (cooking apples) or producing cider.

Cider apples are typically too tart and astringent to eat fresh, but they give the beverage a rich flavour that dessert apples cannot.

Apples for me as well, although I do occasionally like to bring an Orange to a meeting and eat it. Something about the smell seems to make people happy.

Apples are easier to transport and eat on the run. Oranges can be messy. Hence orange juice is easier.

I prefer apples over oranges for the same reason as above having four little ones apples just create way less mess. I also find orange juice extremely difficult to get out of clothing once they do make a mess with them.
