Where can I find two for one eyeglasses in Portland, OR? I wear progressive lenses.
I prefer not to use mailorder or internet as they can't fit the glasses and check for problems with the progressive lenses.

Order on-line. We found we were getting hosed up here in Canada. Prescription eyewear we paid $400 for at a retail store cost on $40 on-line. They are made to order in either India or China as far as we can tell.
You just need your prescription including Pupilary distance or PD. The optometrist has to give you your prescription, it's yours by law. He may charge you to do so, but the cost is usually small. It's good to get it rechecked anyway. Some of the sunglasses frames are a bit flimsy, but they are so inexpensive I can afford to toss them every few months if I want. I lost my last pair fooling around on my watercraft. I was down for a moment, until I remembered how cheap they are, and I could have new ones in a couple weeks! Moral, order spares!
I like the styles at Global, my wife prefers Zenni.

The reason I'm looking for a store in the area is because progressive lenses have to be adjusted to make sure your eyes are centered in the channels. If there is a problem with the channels, which does happen, they have to remake the lenses.

Oregon doesn't have sales tax.. and when you get progressive lenses it is good to have the channels adjusted in the office. They are trickier than regular glasses.
