My first though was that if I were her, I'd miss my face. She looks completely different. that can't be good for someone's sense of identity and therefore self-esteem.

I agree with your comment about how her self-esteem could possibly get worse based on the fact that her face has changed so drastically. But you kind of contradicted yourself by praising how her face looks now.
Mostly I was wondering about the message she is sending out to her fans and really any young girl reading the magazines these days. Is she really sending the message of beauty "inside and out" like she says? Or is her openness about her many surgeries and her negative feelings towards her body more damaging to teens?
