OpenID for Facebook. Can someone explain to me why this is "so huge"?

Essentially, the OpenID for Facebook means no separate login details are required. From Facebook's perspective, they would gain more members (who have used OpenID but have not joined Facebook). For OpenID's point of view, it would make people more aware of the platform.
