Open Thread: John Hughes Films

I'm just a monster fan of John Hughes movies - the memories that stirred up just making this page, oh the memories! I know we've all been discussing our favorite John Hughes films in the wake of his death...from ''Sixteen Candles'' to ''Planes, Trains & Automobiles.'' My question is: who is your favorite character from any of his movies? Personally, I'm going to go with Duckie from ''Pretty in Pink.''

Plans, trains, and Automobiles. Maybe the best Thanksgiving movie ever!

My favorite character was Brian Johnson from "The Breakfeast Club." Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is probably my favorite Hughes movie, but I loved the characters in "The Breakfeast Club".
