I use pricegrabber and it is pretty good and has evolved over period and updated constantly.
I also use pricewatch.com mostly for computer accessories, but they have more.
And also live cashback site (now bing.com) for good cash back rewards based on the store and item I need to buy.

While I was pregnant, I was having a lot of difficulty sleeping at night because my belly was so big and when I layed on my side, I'd have a lot of pain. I'd end up wedging a pillow underneath me to help ease that pain and every time I turned, I had to take the pillow with me. So I did a search on www.babiesrus.com and found this body pillow (below) and decided I really wanted it because it looked like it would help me.
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2267436
On babiesrus.com, the pillow costs $59.99 plus tax AND $17.95 shipping. Total rip off!
I then went to www.amazon.com and found the same pillow for the same price but FREE shipping.

So all I had to pay was the $59.99. I was a happy shopper. The pillow did help me a lot. I slept through the night (unless I had to get up to use the bathroom) and I still use the pillow 7 months postpartum. It's that comfy. =]

What's your favorite comparison shopping site and why?
There are lots of different comparison shopping sites out there (e.g. shopping.com, shopzilla, nextag, pricegrabber, google product search, bing shopping, and many others). Which one is your favorite site? Tell me why you like or dislike any particular site.

Thanks for your detailed report! I was primarily interested in comparison shopping sites, i.e. sites that allow you to compare prices for the same product from different merchants. Amazon does this to some degree (Marketplaces), but at its core, I wouldn't label it a comparison shopping site. In my mind, comparison shopping sites are more like search engines for products, whereas Amazon is an online merchant.

Sorry. I consider it a comparison shopping site because it's what I go to for everything if I can't find a better price anywhere else. I guess I can actually lable it my "go-to" site.
