I've had plenty of great e-mail conversations, a lot that never came to meeting in person but still fun and interesting.
The people who I did meet in person were all really nice, considerate peopl who's company I enjoyed. Most of them, I didn't want to continue dating but we had fun and I didn't meet any crazy people, like my mom warned me against.
In online dating, you pretty much get what you put out there.
Make sure you e-mail with someone a few times first, then talk on the phone before actually making a date and you'll be fine.
GO get 'em tiger!

It could be an option, a lot of happy couples met on dating sites or just the internet. But sometimes people often behave different than how they are. So be prepared for that too. Sometimes in extreme cases it can result in... accidents... but those can also happen when you meet someone in person. But yeah it can be a good idea, but be careful.

I believe that you've hit the nail on the head when you said be careful. Isn't that what dating really comes down to, being careful by finding out who we are going to date?

Run for the hills.... I was testing out this site plentyoffish.com for business research because i heard the guy makes 10 million a year running this dating site... I decided to talk to someo of the girls on there and see what would happen. OMG was I in for a ride. 1st there was the girl that had a mom/father for a mother and father lol. If u know what i mean. Then there was something that sent me a message straight out of the mess hall. And a few others not worth mentioning. Stay away. Youll be thanking me one day . Thanks Mike !

I don't know if I agree here yet I can't say I disagree either. The problem I have is the site you referred to is called plentyoffish.com and that alone conjures up the old saying "something smells fishy (no pun intended).
I'm not sure we can nor should group all the online dating services together as being like that one site. Over all I have to think that some if not most have good qualities.
There is no doubt that within each of the dating sites you can run into some trash. Generally one would think that with careful research and planning we can narrow our chances of finding that one perfect date, as well as, avoiding the crap.

I definitely would agree with you, but from my overall experience i went through maybe 10 girls - all bad. I think this is the type of stuff you will probably find on most dating sites. I just suggested to stay away... You can definitely take a chance, but dont say i didnt warn u... I hope it all works out though.. Try it out and let me know what u think
Thanks Mike !

For me I have no interest in using an online dating service. I am interested in what others think of them.
