Why doesn't TwitterBerry .9 beta work on my Blackberry Curve?
I'm trying to get the new TwitterBerry .9 beta 1 to work on my Sprint Blackberry Curve 8330. I can get it to pull up my time line once, but when it tries to update that time line it just hangs and eventually creates an error.
Apparently I'm not allowed to configure a TCP setting for the phone to provide optimal speeds because I'm on Sprint.
Similarly I have never been able to get twitpic to work with TwitterBerry .8. I'm asking the question here because I can't seem to find support documentation for TwitterBerry or even other people having this problem.
I'm pretty new to Blackberry.

It seems that this version of TwitterBerry has bugs that have yet to be resolved. I'd suggest checking out the support page http://getsatisfaction.com/orangatame for more information as well as to follow reports of similar problems.
I'm guessing that an update to the software will be required before this problem will be resolved. In other words, there isn't much you can do but wait or try to provide more debugging information to the development team.

Do you have the newest version of the blackberry os on your curve?
Yes, I'm sorry, I intended to say. I'm running 4.5.
I've had nothing but lockup issues with my storm as well with twitterberry... had to uninstall it to get the phone working again. ;-(
TwitterBerry is a mobile client for Blackberry users to post updates on Twitter. It supports popular BlackBerry devices including the 8800 line and 8700 line as well as the Pearl and Curve. To get the application loaded, you can either download it or transfer it via USB, or via a download link on your BB. It's simple to use, and avoids the time required to fire up a browser and enter a URL. You can watch updates roll in from friends, view the public timeline and update your status without waiting for Twitters form field to load.
TwitterBerry has released their newest version, 0.9a which brings a lot of improvements over the 0.8 version. But as all beta's it does come with some issues as well.
