Why can't I get Google Reader to work properly offline on OS X with Gears?
I've tried this on Leopard and Tiger, with Firefox. Here's what happens. The "synchronize" part works. If I turn off Airport, and leave the browser open, everything is fine. However, if I exit the browser or turn the machine off (which is what I'd want to do on a trip) the browser acts normally, it says it can't find the site.
What is the offline URL for the Google Reader? Is it different or special? Is there a service that needs to be running? Ideas?
