How about "trotters" - picture a little anthropomorphic pig jumping up and down waving a foreleg in the air going "me me me!"
I think the suggestion on http://www.bacn2.com/ that the next term in the chain is "Sausage" also has merit :D (As in "Put it away!")

interpreted in many ways.
Do you maybe need a new
place to spend time in,
and what would that be
called?
personal friendship and non-commercial collaborative environments?
and what would such a place be like?
and would it really be as much fun without anything or anyone
to complain about?

What should unwanted personal promotions over social networks be called?
Unwanted email is called SPAM. Unwanted email you signed up for is called BACN. Figured out a good name for unwanted self-promotions from friends in social networks!

Following the pork product theme I would initially say "RIND", but some people think the rind is the best bit. How about "trotters" - picture a little anthropomorphic pig jumping up and down waving a foreleg in the air going "me me me!"
